As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish.
This is a key leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with the field personnel and operations team.
Responsibilities - Manage all aspects of construction project in the field as it pertains to projected schedules, budget, and plans.
- Coordinate with Project Manager to ensure project specifications are met - Review and interpret project plans, locates, and specifications - Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets by way of effective communication with Project Manager and computer based programs - Conduct daily site visits to inspect work quality and address any issues or concerns - Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment needed for construction projects, as well as maintaining all rented or owened equipment - Collaborate with Project Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving project efficiency and productivity - Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards and company policies and procedures - Provide regular updates on project status to Project Manager Skills - Strong knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and techniques - Proficiency computer skills with Microsoft 365 applications and Teamup calendar application - Experience with construction and field operations - Familiarity with reading and interpreting plasn, locate tickets, and blueprints - Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members, customers, contractors, and management team.
